Some people return a lot of guns and the complexity of the laws, people coming from other states etc. I'm going to give them a 5 star rating because they're really friendly once they see you are patient and calm. This is a gun store after all and people should come inside with respect. This is my two cents at least, can't wait to pick up tomorrow and practice. Will update after I receive my product.

Very intelligent and knew what he was talking about. Even down to practicing and using those ear muffs with microphones in them so I don't yell, because yelling increases the heart rate and releases adrenaline so when you're shooting you want to be calm.

I had to take a test but it wasn't hard. His whole team is amazing. I will say, with some customers, you need thick skin. Don't take his curt answers and confidence rudely. He's friendly and kind.

When my gun came they texted me and let me know and were super professional.

Also, I ordered ammo online and sent it to their shop. They sell ammo there however so they have everything you need. Now I know why it's so highly rated!

Plenty of parking. Prices aren't the CHEAPEST around but they are a local store so it's nice to support local shops.

Selection: It is a smaller shop, but they have a lot of hard to find items you generally can't get elsewhere in CA. Off roster and consignment selection is good.

Their knowledge of firearms is huge (Scott) and their ability to get guns (RJ) from suppliers that others just can't is amazing. Yes it's a small shop but if RJ or Scott says they can get "it" whatever "it" is they mean it! Remember most of the stuff they sell it's consignment so they don't actually set the prices the owners actually do but they can explain it all to you when you come. Another plus is since they get so many consignments they see a lot of guns that u won't find at Turner's or 99% of other places...stop by..you will be amazed at the treasures they have. I was.

The OC Guns people were always helpful and friendly and explained the entire process to me with respect. There were many bumps along the way ( not on their part!) but they remained patient and steadfast. They have sold two guns for me so far, and a third is set to sell. They have a super professional staff who follow the letter of the law. That's awesome. That's exactly what I was looking for.
My guns were listed with little trouble and all the paperwork was completed in 30-45 minutes from walking in the door. They helped with finding a good price to list them at and each gun sold at the asking price. Their 10% seller's fee is very fair and I was paid in cash.
I'm grateful to OC Guns and look forward to doing future business with them soon.
